7 September - Grilled Leeks & Noodles in Anchovy Sauce

So again it is a Friday, and again we find ourselves unprepared for the dinner ahead of us... and yet we still managed to pull something out.

Albeit with some "modifications"

Originally this was meant to be a pasta dish but *gasp* we ran out of pasta!
Can you believe that?
No pasta in the House of Awesome Food!
The horror of this.... I hang my head in shame.

So anyway, it was too late to change plans, so we went with it and decided to substitute noodles for pasta, afterall... The Italians did steal the idea of pasta from the Chinese noodles... how different could it be???

So, what are we looking at here?
Well, wheat noodles, fried tofu and grilled leek with Tetsuya's honey mustard dressing.
The noodles has an anchovy sauce... it was kind of weird, but not in a terrible way. Although really not so much in a good way either. The onions made the "anchovy" sauce really surprisingly sweet....
Just weird.

How was it?
Let's just say, not my best effort.
