Steamed Pippies & Soondubu Jigae (Spicy Korean Tofu Soup)

Ahhh, the allure of fresh and wonderful ingredients.
When you see fresh pippies at the market, nothing much needs to be done with them... just steam and eat! Yum!

A wonderful way to start a meal.
Steamed pippies

We served it with a bowl of fish sauce, some ginger, spring onions and extra garlic (gotta love ya garlic if you want to avoid them vampires)

Obligatory "artsy" shot

Still drooling over this...

For mains we made Soondubu Jigae. A spicy korean tofu soup.
We do love our spicy korean dishes at the House of Awesome Food.

There's not much we can do to make this appealing-looking but trust us, it was GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!

Fresh baby king oyster mushrooms and bloody fresh tofu, just the way we like it

This one's to be slurped
