20 October - Deep fried soft shell crab

So we bought these babies at Conways... not a bad price really, $15.90/ kg and we bought 1 kg and it turns out we get 10 crabs for that price.

And all it took was some flour, egg, flour combination and chuck it in hot oil and lo and behold the wonderfulness of crispy deep fried soft shell crab!

DEEEE LISH SHUS!

Come little crabbies, Come to mama!



We served it with a little broadbean, cucumber, capsicum salad

And some tofu "steak" for the vegetarian man in our company tonight. Verdict on this was that it was the best tofu he has ever eaten. I kid you not, he told us it was the best ever tofu in the whole wide world! And I agree with him.
(disclaimer: perhaps I read in between the lines a little bit, but hey, the vego man loved it and that's all that matters)
