10 June - Vegie Soup and Quiche

7 June - Slow Roasted Pork Shoulder, Burrata with Tomato Basil Salad

And this is the most awesome-est roast pork EVER.
Really. It truly is the most awesome roast pork you will ever have a chance to taste and it's a dish that just keeps on giving...

Sorry, no pics of the pork skiced open because we were such eager beavers that we just couldn't wait to take more photos. We had to start stuffing our faces... and fill our bellies...

6 June - Seared Duck Breast With Soup Noodles

And this was just delicious!
1 duck breast, serves 4 hungry ladies!

5 June - Poached Chicken & Roasted Cauli

I'm quite proud of how this one turned out....

4 June - Scallops on Quinoa Salad

3 June - Pork Bulgogi and Macarons

Following on our korean theme...
and from the success of the first batch of macarons....

2 June - Jap Chae, Jigae and Baked Squid

31 May - Sweet & Sour Soup and Blue Grenadier

So, due to the lack of updates... I may have misplaced some photos... on some days... or *gasp* may not have even taken any photos on certain days!

I know... I know... and I'm so terribly apologetic! How very un-Asian of my not to take photos of my food.... I will repent on my sins. I promise.

Panfried blue grenadier with sweet soy-ish dipping sauce...

Vietnamese sweet and sour soup with prawns

29 May - Vegetarian Pasta

What to do when you got not much and only some ingredients on the way out....

Can of tomatoes, some chopped up onions and capers and slice some beans et voila!
PASTA for dinner!

Sorry about this lack of updates recently... it's really getting harder to keep on top of these things when life and such get in the way...

But trust me, we are still eating and having dinner EVERY NIGHT. Oh yes, I kid you not, we have dinner EVERY night, no jokes. My ever expanding belly will prove it  ;Þ

28 May - Home Made Gnocchi with Mushroom Sauce

So I saw this being done on Masterchef recently and thought I'd give it a go, and lo and behold, it was pretty darn easy, if but so time consuming!

Cute aren't they?
My first ever home made gnocchi.... freshly cooked.

Oh, I could drool all over this again....

Oh, we had some leftover corn in the fridge so we did a Mamasita styled grilled cheese corn. Good stuff.

25 May - Soba with Mocked Fish

Mock fish is made from wheat gluten... it's not a tofu or soy thing as I first thought.
Usually I quite like the vego stuff, but I'm not too sure about this one... it was... odd...

Noodles were great though. But how can they not be, right? Noodles are ALWAYS great!
